Scrotal Webbing Corrective Surgery

Scrotal Webbing Correctal Surgery

Scrotal webbing is a condition where the scrotal skin extends beyond it normal boundaries and attaches itself to the upper portions of the penile shaft, almost all the way up to the glans (head of penis) area. This may cause pain during intercourse and provides the added bonus of making the penile erect length appear shorter, but in essence it is an ‘optical’ illusion. But none the less, men do not like their penis to appear shorter.

The remedy for this is to correct this webbed skin by removing it. It is a relatively minor procedure and the treatment can be done In-Office with local anesthesia.

It is recommended to check with your insurance company to see if there is medical coverage for this because if you are experiencing pain, or even skin tears from having intercourse, it may be covered. Loria Medical does perform this procedure, but only for cosmetic purposes (situations where this would not be covered under insurance).

Consult with your local Urologist for an evaluation and further details.
